Becoming one of the ViSalus success stories in business should be fairly easy because you're working with a great company with great products.

As well, you probably heard the phrase: "You're in business for yourself, but not by yourself."

It sounds nice.

However, the truth of the matter is... making a list of everyone you know, bugging your friends and family, dragging people to hotel meetings every Tuesday night, passing out 100's of ViSalus flyers, business cards and DVD's ...has been proven for over 50 years to not build a huge downline of people.

No. Of course not.

ViSalus has to run their company using a business model that is proven to work for THEM...but that doesn't necessarily mean it will work for YOU.

The company's own ViSalus success stories are based on a mathematical model. Generally, they know that the average Associate will bring in about 2.5 people and then quit the business around 90 to 120 days. But those people who drop out are 15 to 20% likely to continue using the products month after month.

In a short time, the company will bring in hundreds and thousands of new Associates in a fairly short time, and they make 100's of Millions of dollars. This is why you hear those catchy phrases like "momentum phase" and "perfect timing"...these refer to the company...NOT you.

But you can't become one of the ViSalus success stories doing what your company and upline leaders tell you...those instructions are for the people who they KNOW are going to drop out within 6 months.

You must learn to attract people to you who are already interested in the benefit you can provide them through the products.  You're not selling ViSalus, you're selling YOU.

This is a very powerful concept in marketing called 'Positioning'.

Chasing your friends and family, passing out flyers about your great products, doing 3-way calls with your upline...these are lame-duck approaches and do NOTHING to make you look like an expert.
